September went in a flash. And gave us some lovely weather on it's way thru. We were able to enjoy a real, true beach day, did some hiking, let the dog run the beach with his favorite friend, hosted the harvest festival a the community garden, the kids started school, and welcomed the teenage years into our lives! Such a full month. one of our fav hiking spots our favorite beach friends - no matter the weather beauty grows in the most unlikely places - this sweet sunflower was not grown "on purpose", it's the result of the bird feeder seeds that hung from above!!! bday shenanigans hello 13! we finished a fun and epic read aloud together already this year. it was so fun and imaginative we welcomed about a dozen teens to our home for a campfire, pizzas (so many pizzas) and a night of games!!
