Raising Arrows

This month has been lovely. If you read my last post (here) , you know that God has been working on my heart and mind. That's all I'll say on that matter... this post is dedicated to the lovely month of January! SO much goodness came this month. School in full swing, our first visitors, and gorgeous new parks. So without more delay.... Here we are two day from February! Man, this month flew. We have been settled and here for nearly a month and a half. Boxes are gone, our weekly schedule has found a new groove, school is back in full swing, we are finding some new favorite parks and loving the southern sun when it shines so bright in whats suppose to be winter time. But it took me a while this time to get mentally stable. (and I'm not even sure I'm quit there yet.) Not sure why this move was so much more difficult then any other. We had friends already, knew a good deal about the community, had a church, and am still just a couple hour plane ride from sweet ol' Michigan in case of an emergency. But something has been had hold my heart. Something I never thought about when I had the comforts of "home" to ease my mind. FEAR. So much fear. Fear of anything really. Being alone, like alone, alone. Fear of loosing my health. Fear of moving yet again ... I mean that's the goal! And I want to mov...

WHOA! Can you believe it? 2018!!??!!! Another year has flown by! And man, this has been a full year! We moved twice, took two big roads trips this summer, raised chickens, got a new pup, and began fundraising head on! Phew. Well, in years past we've kept this "memory jar" through out the year... well this year we didn't so well at keeping up with it. We just got super busy, it got put in a not very accessible spot, and well forgotten. So we have memories written down through about march, ha! From there I'll fill in with photos. Which we never have a shortage of. Some will be reposts I'm sure, but man, this year has been a blast! SO many great memories and dear treasured moments we want to cling to and remember.
