{Our December}

Image
Once again I'll do a quick catch up, but in the true to goodness photo gallery way. Because well I do a better job at capturing our days and weeks in photos then in keeping a blog. ha! :)  Theodore has learned write his name! And now it is on everything!  Date Night to see Santa and get hot cocoa, and of course the library  Our volcano project was a HUGE hit. We all enjoyed learning and experimenting with it.  This month has taught me a lot about resting in God's strength to get through the days. Resting in Him and not in me.  Norma got my old doll house this year for Christmas. It was a huge hit!  This year the Keith side had Christmas at Gull Lake the weekend before Christmas. We spent two nights in a 10 bedroom house at GLM. It was a HUGE success and VERY, VERY fun. Memories were made and the years to come are gonna have a lot to hold up to!  Merry Christmas from the Keith Family! 2016 Christmas Eve morning ...

{Our Renewed Day}

Image
Let's be real... Today has been a day of defeat. A day of mess. A day of battles and lost tempers.  My kids have watched too much TV, and have fought over a single piece of paper. They ate cold pizza for lunch (and loves it), and I have no idea what dinner is going to be.  I'm exhausted. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I've cried for hours and still seem to have streams that will just pop up.  I'm weary. I'm scared I'm not enough and I know for a fact I can't do this.  *BUT* I don't have to be enough, Christ did that years ago for me. He won't fail. He always loves. He provides strength. He fought the battle of all battles (and WON!) And above all He always loves and forgives. He made me, he made my kids. And I can't fight who we are. I am His. He has me. He has my family. He wants us to run to him and know him intimately.  It's in that love that I can rise up and keep on. Even if it's just oatmeal for dinner.  ;)  I'm tired ...

{Raising Arrows}

Well we've made this missionary thing even more official! We have our own webpage. Hooray!  It's www.raisingarrows.org   Along with the new page we just finished up a video chat with our field leader in the U.K. and are in the process of planning our vision trip. We thought it'd be in February but it's now looking like it'll be sooner. How about January!!?!! Whoa!  So far our plans are to take Milo with us and have the younger three stay back with grandparents. It makes this momma's heart sink to think of leaving any of you behind but we just can't afford to take you all, plus it'll be a short trip. Most likely around a week's time. Guess we better start that fundraising and get cracking on plans!  Can't wait to see the land and people first hand.

{Happy Halloween!}

Image
Cruised the 'hood with some friends :)   Our crew - 2016 I've never been a huge fan of halloween outside of my childhood, when I could dress up and trick-o-treat, but it's becoming more and more fun with all you kids! I love seeing what your little imaginations what to be for a evening of fun. This year we hit our new neighborhood after dinner (that's right, actually going door to door near our own home! haha that's city living, huh!!!) And we will be accompanied by DarthVader, LarryBoy, a beautiful princess (Elsa), and a little pea pod. We had quit the time cruising around with our friends from the end of our street. Larryboy didn't stop talking the whole time we were out, and poor Princess Elsa couldn't walk in her dress so she was carried or pulled in her carriage (aka wagon) from door to door. It was truly the princess life for her. We got loads of candy from just our small neighborhood and were pretty ready to check out the goo...
