{Weak}

Croup, an allergic reaction, a UTI, an urgent care visit for my hubby, cancelled or rescheduled fundraising appointments, on top of the normal, every day life of a homeschool family with 4 kids and a puppy. I've lost a few socks and a shoe to the dog and his obsessive chewing, I forgot to pack a very special friend for show & tell today - resulting in quit the tears at preschool (and for momma on the road with a sick sibling), soccer games & thunderstorms, keeping up on reading and math, and making sure our chickens have water each...

{Summer Wrap Up}

What?!?! Summer is over? Hold on, while I step back and wipe my tears away. How come summer always flies by? We can never seem to get enough sun, sand, beach, ice cream, late night sunsets and swim time in. But man we sure did live it up and enjoy each sweet second of it! Here's a quick recap on what late July and August held for us... - we had a soft start to school in July, taking it easy and enjoying our morning times together and working here and there on math, science, writing and reading. - we celebrated NINE years of marriage!! my goodness how that time has flown. and i love daddy more then i could of fathomed and love each day we have together. - we spent a few nights out at Gull Lake and enjoyed some sweet cousin time in the water, on the boat, and in the rain - SCIENCE camp at church! It was quit a great time. Our VBS this year was all science based and it was a fun time full of experiments, goo, rockets, and snacks. I helped lead for a few nights and the boys just ...
