{24 : april}

  April! Well it began rainy and cloudy, but then really gave us a good show of what Spring holds. Flowers, smells, sunrises/sunsets. Gorgeous!  We also had a lovely easter visit from family!!!! And we totally surprised the kiddos with it too. Uncle Scott, Aunt Amanda & their boys showed up while we were shopping at a charity shop in Newcastle. It was the best surprise we've pulled off yet! :) Absolutely great. We spent the easter holidays with them exploring Northumbra. We hiked some of Hadrian's Wall, saw Sycamore Gap, went to a castle and spent a day wandering around Alnwick. Fabulous time! We are so thankful for their visit.  found this epic tree @ Wallington - a great National Trust site cartoons with cousins! hadrian's wall with cousins they were terrific hikers! such a joy to share the North East with family it was emotional to see Sycamore Gap this way...  fish n chips with family is SO much better A REAL CASTLE! Bamburgh Castle did not disappoint Sunday ...

{24 : march}

 What a whirlwind this Spring has been. Catching up and looking back, it's so fun to watch the world just explode with life, sunshine and warmth again. March was full of friend, outdoors and beginning weekly open hours back in the community garden. We became more consistent and routine with our homeschool and our weekends as a family were spent relaxing and enjoying creation together.  on the last day of March, N prepped a bday cake for Dad!  a lovely parish picnic after church  complete with a footie match we found this gorgeous National Trust site - Cragside!  Def a new favorite and LOTS more to explore.  We only scratched the surface. seriously - how cool are these trees tho!?!?!  happy bday Dad!  a fun moorland hike with church! On Good Friday we took a hike with our church and did some worship on a moor top by an old chapel.  sprucing up Harty Rd with some wildflower beds!  Spring at the Community Garden!  M had a day off - so ...
