{Fabulous February!}

It has truly been a fabulous February. Days of rain and sunshine. Warmth and frost.  We had visitors and we explored a lot. We also got pretty muddy from time to time as well. Over all it was a great month full of fun memories. We also made a pretty awesome milestone in fundraising!! We've made it over 20%!!!!! Yippeee!!!! We are delighted and so grateful for each of our partners and pray we keep on so we can cross the pond next year at this time! :)  this kid loved sharing his broken arm story!  our littlest guy has grown quit big this last month! Trains are one of his favs now always a hard worker silly times at a park together  had to capture this sweetness <3 our fun guests! we loved having uncle Jake and aunt Alicia over!  rainy days call for muddy play  the family that mud fights together...gets super dirty together!  when the sickness started to creep into our home ... snuggles were in high demand...

{Homeschool Happenings}

So shifting gears a bit here. Wanted to touch base on how homeschooling is going. Seems like things have been so on/off this year due to packing, moving, adjusting and more adjusting. But we've learned a lot still and am back in the swing of things now. We began term 2 this month! We've completed a few books and are about to finish a few more. We began Shakespeare last week, and much to my surprise it's a favorite. Our morning time routine has really flourished and has become a stable group time of fun, laughter, at times frustration, but overall a good time of learning all together. We go over our memory verse, read the bible, review our letter, color and shape of the week, play with some kind of manipulative, do our read aloud, sing a hymn and throw in some kind of science a few times a week. Oh and we've really grown to love our nature observations and journaling through out the week. It really has been a great time of learning. I feel like it's really a large ...

{Mail Day}

It's been a week of clouds and sun here in NC. The weather can't seem to quit make up it's mind whether it wants to be spring or winter. I'm afraid we really didn't leave crazy MI weather behind. Each state has it's crazy. :) However this week has been a great week as we have been reminded of God's goodness and provisions. We have really been kinda stuck in our fundraising, plateaued, as some call it. With packing and moving taking up so much of our time and energy in December, we haven't been really gotten back into things till the new year! So with almost a month off we began praying for motivation and for opportunities to share again. We sent a new round of letters and emails. We began making phone calls again and things slowly came back to us and, I can't quit say we are fully back into the rhythmn of it all again, but we are feeling it again and am anxious to get back into the saddle completely again.
