Raising Arrows

Guys, I can't get over how fast this past month went! We had a lot going on and am finally getting back to our normal routine. We had a birthday, a big trip to MI, fundraising engagements, cousin time, sunshine, rainy days, a birthday with friends, bonfires and messy smore memories, two weeks with our Nanny, and came back home in time for the fourth of July. Wow! So here's a recap of it all .... a good rainy day in our books!  This girl turned 4!!   Another round of ear infections for this guy ...  Their first time at a movie theater! it was a HUGE hit! Thank you $1 summer movies!  one of his favorite spots!  We LOVED seeing some of our aunts and uncles on our trip!   Got to spend Father's Day with my own Daddy! I'll never take that for granted again.  sweet cousin time <3 three months apart but equally full of mischief together! :)  together again!  those smiles!  ...

It's that time of year again ... planning for another year of school and enjoying every moment of it! This year brings a new school name, planning for TWO kids, and grounding more of what we do in a  more flexible, Charlotte Mason way. I loved how my planner worked last year and was excited to expand it to hold BOTH of our school kids this year. I've had some friends ask what I use and how I plan, and I hesitated making this post, but I want to both share and remember what we do this school year. So here it goes... This 2018-2019 school year holds both a Kindergartner and a 3rd grader! WHOA! We are in a new state, and they require that we register as a homeschool. Which means I had to name us. After some thought, I came up with Archery Academics. Based off of Psalm 127 and an amazing sermon I listen to each year from J.D. Greear ( here's his blog that speaks a bit about it). Another month flew by. Here's some of the adventure, mundane, and memories had by our crew. We really have had a busy month and have a busy fundraising schedule in June! Hoping to break over the 25% mark this month!! reading with big brother is a favorite these days we had the priveledge of visiting Wilkinson World!! Our friends Bobby & Bethany have a slice of paradise here in Charlotte. And they were nice enough to share some of it's beauty with use while we were studying bees.  T couldn't wait to get in on the action and wear the Bee uniform  M studies each moment  N's bestie here in Denver had matching outfits! We camped in our backyard and had a pizza picnic outdoors.  the kids were pretty stoked to have a night outside!  E's first trip to the zoo was a pleasure! He was all smiles and loved being high in daddy's arms  A full day and we saw nearly all the animals!  Pool Days = Best Days!  ...
