Raising Arrows

It took me till the middle of October to realize we had made it to another month and that I needed to update our blog with our monthly photos! Geesch! Time is flying but we are excited to feel Fall move in and hear the sound of rustling leaves again. Here in NC it's really beginning to feel like a new season. Evenings that are cooling off to low 50's and daytime temps only reaching up to 60's. It's perfect weather if you ask us. Anywho, this last month was marked by God's hand of provision time and time again. He brought us to Michigan safely (dispite car issues) and back again. We had a church partner with us and we made it to 34%!!! What a great month to watch God move. Our new prayer and goal for October is to reach 40%... and currently we are at 39.84%! SO CLOSE! August was a blast! We filled it full of fun, adventures, school, animals, new routines, and plenty of good food! We love spending our free time out front visiting with our neighbors and had a blast during our neighborhood ice cream social... hosted at our sweet new picnic table!!! M learned how to mow the yard, T is learning to read more and more weeks each week, and as a family we made it past the 25% mark in fundraising!!! Praise God! Our big prayer now is to be over the 30% mark by our MI trip in 3 weeks. God is GOOD and BIG and we have faith in His timing!! We are looking forward to fall and cooler temperatures... August was a HOT and muggy one. I, personally, can not wait to wear jeans, long sleeves, and hoodies again. I've been told we still have another month till those clothes come out tho... ha!
