December was a whirlwind. I'll let the pictures tell teh story, but one thing I do want to highlight was the look of surprise on my grandpa's face when we showed up after breakfast one morning! :) It was the best! forest school silliness an epic new lego gift sickness ran through our home during the last weeks of November thru December. E took the brunt of it the infection took him down hard and landed us in the urgent care for most of the night one evening. while the sickness took it's rounds, the healthy folks baked! i just love the layers of sun in our yard. i'll never take it for granted we had A LOT happening thru the month, so to keep it all together the kids helped me make a fun calendar that allowed us to count down to take off! the weather was beautiful and spent nearly an entire week giving us afternoon rainbows. becoming more of a confident reader and pulling out the fun books salt dough ornaments for a cold evening win the very...
