{March Madness & Recovery}

Many have asked and wonder how I am doing since my heart ablation March 12th and I am happy to report that I am feeling better and have pretty much completely recovered! I had my check up last week and got the all clear and am now on a "as needed" basis with my electrocardiologist! Hooray! And it's just time before we know if the procedure was 100% effective. The doctor feels like it should be, so that's a plus. Because I wasn't suffering from multiple SVT 'bouts a day and they were so random and bizarre, it's just gonna take time to tell. The procedure itself was marinated in prayer and I went into the day feeling prepared and ready. I wasn't as afraid as I thought I should be. ha! And didn't really get antsy till they ran my IV and said, okay it's time to go back! Then I got panicky. But the Lord gave  me the strength when I needed it and I remember bits and pieces through the procedure, but overall it wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined...

{February Funnies}

a saturday spent at one of our favorite parks before the flu bug got us  Phew February was quit a month! The weather was insane and couldn't make up it's mind on whether it wanted to be summer or a version of the rainy season. On top of that, it seems as those germs are rampant and EVERYWHERE. Everyone is dropping like flies and we weren't spared. When it was sunny we soaked in the time and made the best of the day ... and when it rained, well we got creative and spent days imagining we were aboard the International Space Station, did lots of crafts, read books, and watched some PBS kids. We got some answers regarding my heart procedure and I am booked for Tuesday, March 12th! Way faster then we thought but so grateful for God's timing! This way, I can get it over with and onto recovery before all our fun spring plans.
