  we spent an evening under the stars doing a glow stick walk  tis the season for pumpkin pie!  it's getting darker much earlier now,  so we spend a lot evenings playing games.  just an afternoon read by the tree  LOVE having family visit!  This time we took them to Durham Cathedral.  gorgeous surroundings, plus the choir was practicing for it's  Christmas performances.  cousin time rocks!  love these guys!  Thanksgiving with nearly 60 neighbors and friends.  what a delight!  Fish Friday with family - PLUS the world cup game was on!  US vs England nap time  soaking in the rays before the sun slips away.  this was taken about 3pm. and yes, the sun is setting!  spent an afternoon with some dear friends.  we had loads of food and learned some fun new games... this one was our fav!  early saturday morning park time!  we had the place to ourselves and enjoyed slipping and sliding all arou...

we began the month with a fun and spontaneous trip to  Mount Grace Priory with an awesome family!  Super thankful for new friends who are like family.  October was filled with lots of pumpkins, baking, and outdoor time. Knowing the time change was quick on our heals, we tried to soak in as much as possible! We hosted a pumpkin party in the community garden. We were able to carve pumpkins with many kids from the neighborhood and enjoyed some much needed soup and caramel apple cider. We visited one of our favorite hiking spots. We made lots of homemade goodies - not all pumpkin flavored either. We also welcomed soup season with open mouths and have been enjoying soup every Sabbath with homemade bread, which has been a trial and ere process. haha but a yummy experiment none the less. We were also treated to very enjoyable day out to The Beamish Museum with an amazing couple and partners from our church. It was a great month and a great way to enter into autumn and the "dark ...
