Raising Arrows

February feels like ages ago, so I'll try to remember all that happened.  We started the month in Colorado. It was a wonderful week and we were able to connect and make new friends. Then we headed out west, to San Francisco! We'd never been out that far and while our time there was short, we enjoyed getting to know folks in Stockton, California! :)  From there we flew back to the Midwest, hitting up Chicago on the way home to Michigan.  Then we started to hard task of saying our goodbyes.  It never gets any easier. And this time it was particularly hard, cause we aren't really sure when we are returning to the USA. We filled our final nights in the states with loads of our favorite foods (tator tots anyone?) and as much family as possible. Thankful for the hugs and laughs.  When we landed home in England, we were greeted by our dear friends and were SO glad to sleep in our own home and beds with our doggie!  But within 10 days our family was taken down by a...

 January was full of roadtrips, family time, new faces, our favorite american foods, time with friends, and lots of miles!!! We were in Michigan, NC, Indiana, and Colorado - all in 4 weeks. It was a whirlwind but God gave us health and provided housing, food and vehicles along the way! Praise God!  Games and Food with our favorite Charlotteans! (?) is that a word, who cares!  There wasn't enough time to get all the games and laughs in, but we made the most of each moment together!  We headed to NC in my folks' car - loaded to the MAX!  it was fun to be on our old road trippin' roads again.  an american diner breakfast date! one of my favs Rang in the New Year with these lovely folks.  Couldn't have asked for better company. New friends in CO!
