February feels like ages ago, so I'll try to remember all that happened. 
We started the month in Colorado. It was a wonderful week and we were able to connect and make new friends. Then we headed out west, to San Francisco! We'd never been out that far and while our time there was short, we enjoyed getting to know folks in Stockton, California! :) 
From there we flew back to the Midwest, hitting up Chicago on the way home to Michigan. 
Then we started to hard task of saying our goodbyes. 
It never gets any easier. And this time it was particularly hard, cause we aren't really sure when we are returning to the USA. We filled our final nights in the states with loads of our favorite foods (tator tots anyone?) and as much family as possible. Thankful for the hugs and laughs. 
When we landed home in England, we were greeted by our dear friends and were SO glad to sleep in our own home and beds with our doggie! 
But within 10 days our family was taken down by a wicked virus that pretty much crushed us for a while. We managed to make it to our UK field retreat before it was too bad, but E had to visit the GP 3x! What a wicked virus. 
Thankful it subsided and after nearly 3 weeks of fevers and coughs we were sleeping thru the night again and getting back into something that resembled normal.

the art gallery in Stockton has free admission the one Saturday we were there, 
so Tim & I enjoyed a few hours of roaming thru beautiful art.

Thankful we got such precious time with this man while home. 
Gonna miss our breakfast dates!

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. So Much Thankfulness

  This year, as many years before, there's SO much to be thankful for. Seriously tho, the list goes on forever. God blesses us so much every year and sometimes I think we take that for granted. His mercy and grace alone are enough to make Thanksgiving day full of overwhelming hearts and thankful spirits ... but He blesses us with SO much more. It's incredible. Not only does God forgive me and rescue me daily from my sins, He gives me a beautiful little family that loves me for me. A husband that is devoted and dedicated. A very cute little guy (that's you Milo Man!) that loves his mommy dearly and makes life so much more adventurous. Another cute guy that will be arriving oh so soon (hopefully). And parents that still take care of me, even when i least expect it.  These are just a few of the wonderful things that I am thankful for this year.  My salvation in Christ has taken on a new meaning in the past year; helping me to realize there's not much more in life that ...
