Raising Arrows

March, what a flash. I feel it was mostly scarred by sickness, but we were able to get out and enjoy some sunshine at home and take a few adventures.  My big change in March was attacking my addiction to my phone and spending less time on and around it. It (so far) is going well.  We had a lot of tea, enjoyed a snow day, got back on track with our school routine, had a few extra days with M due to teacher strikes at school, had our first bonfire at the garden, visited a new museum as a family and celebrated mothering Sunday!  Overall, the month went fast and we are SO happy to be in SPRING and have more sunshine for our days! around the corner is a local park that has some epic slides and is loads of fun enjoying some hot cocoa after some park time book time  SNOW! We were lucky enough to spend the snow day at Forest School  and made a snowman! :) when you let your child have your phone to take pictures, they sneak pictures of you! spiderman joined our adventure...

February feels like ages ago, so I'll try to remember all that happened.  We started the month in Colorado. It was a wonderful week and we were able to connect and make new friends. Then we headed out west, to San Francisco! We'd never been out that far and while our time there was short, we enjoyed getting to know folks in Stockton, California! :)  From there we flew back to the Midwest, hitting up Chicago on the way home to Michigan.  Then we started to hard task of saying our goodbyes.  It never gets any easier. And this time it was particularly hard, cause we aren't really sure when we are returning to the USA. We filled our final nights in the states with loads of our favorite foods (tator tots anyone?) and as much family as possible. Thankful for the hugs and laughs.  When we landed home in England, we were greeted by our dear friends and were SO glad to sleep in our own home and beds with our doggie!  But within 10 days our family was taken down by a...
