Raising Arrows

 Once again these darn pictures are working backwards! I'll figure it out one of these days!  April showers have moved on now ... although I will say our April was very sunny and beautiful! Warm and longer days with light, we celebrated Tim's bday, we built a raised bed for our back garden, enjoyed a trip the the Holy Island, loved watch Spring come to life in our favorite park, took lots of LONG walks - sometimes for fun, sometimes for serious, and Tim and I got a date night in before the month was done! It was a full month of delight!  a new favorite date spot - The Mockingbird in Yarm  Yarm is gorgeous in spring Forest School is AWESOME! we love it and are learning so much.  Here N is melting pewter for a model she created.  building and lighting their own fires using flint and steel.  continuing to persevere!  Girls Night to celebrate and say goodbye to a great friend.  Forest School wins again. March, what a flash. I feel it was mostly scarred by sickness, but we were able to get out and enjoy some sunshine at home and take a few adventures.  My big change in March was attacking my addiction to my phone and spending less time on and around it. It (so far) is going well.  We had a lot of tea, enjoyed a snow day, got back on track with our school routine, had a few extra days with M due to teacher strikes at school, had our first bonfire at the garden, visited a new museum as a family and celebrated mothering Sunday!  Overall, the month went fast and we are SO happy to be in SPRING and have more sunshine for our days! around the corner is a local park that has some epic slides and is loads of fun enjoying some hot cocoa after some park time book time  SNOW! We were lucky enough to spend the snow day at Forest School  and made a snowman! :) when you let your child have your phone to take pictures, they sneak pictures of you! spiderman joined our adventure...
