 Once again these darn pictures are working backwards! I'll figure it out one of these days! 
April showers have moved on now ... although I will say our April was very sunny and beautiful! Warm and longer days with light, we celebrated Tim's bday, we built a raised bed for our back garden, enjoyed a trip the the Holy Island, loved watch Spring come to life in our favorite park, took lots of LONG walks - sometimes for fun, sometimes for serious, and Tim and I got a date night in before the month was done! It was a full month of delight!

Forest School is AWESOME! we love it and are learning so much. 
Here N is melting pewter for a model she created. 

building and lighting their own fires using flint and steel.

Girls Night to celebrate and say goodbye to a great friend. 

Forest School wins again. This time they learned a few knots and how to set up a shelter.

But with the warm sunshine, it was a breeze!

stumbled upon a 12th century church on one of our walks! 

just a short 3 mile walk to pick up brother from school ... 
but the landscape was superb!

it was a joy to watch these kids persevere through 3.4 miles to church. 
Not a lot of complaining but a lot of chatter and memories 

he built this by hand, nearly all by himself!

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. So Much Thankfulness

  This year, as many years before, there's SO much to be thankful for. Seriously tho, the list goes on forever. God blesses us so much every year and sometimes I think we take that for granted. His mercy and grace alone are enough to make Thanksgiving day full of overwhelming hearts and thankful spirits ... but He blesses us with SO much more. It's incredible. Not only does God forgive me and rescue me daily from my sins, He gives me a beautiful little family that loves me for me. A husband that is devoted and dedicated. A very cute little guy (that's you Milo Man!) that loves his mommy dearly and makes life so much more adventurous. Another cute guy that will be arriving oh so soon (hopefully). And parents that still take care of me, even when i least expect it.  These are just a few of the wonderful things that I am thankful for this year.  My salvation in Christ has taken on a new meaning in the past year; helping me to realize there's not much more in life that ...
