Raising Arrows

 August! Our month of freedom, exploration, holiday, retreat, refreshment, friendship, and learning.  We started the month in Germany, traveled to Paris, then back to England.  Our family enjoyed seeing classic and famous works of art, a picnic with paints by the Eiffel Tower, and late night conversations and video games with friends.  We saw real, beautiful growth in the community garden and began handing out the harvest to neighbors. We also started to prep for our autumn term. Planning out our routine and schedule, along with getting school things prepped. I'll let the photos say the rest ... but August, you were the best! my 10/2 girls from America.  They spent the summer with us in Mill Lane/Harty Rd. and we LOVE them (and miss them) so much.  at the end of the month, just a few days from starting school I spent a day with God out in his creation.  loved the cooler air and feel, made me want to make bread! can not wait to get through this with the...

 What a month of fun, adventure, friends, outdoors, and long full days.  climbing around rocks and exploring Brimham with these guys.  It was a great day of exploration sometimes the garden grows lettuce in the craziest places -  but we enjoyed it.   my wonderful husband putting together my crazy ideas.  Raised garden beds for wheelchair users.  at home our garden went crazy growing courgettes!  we will have courgette for days this winter... super proud of this guys dedication to education thankful for an amazing, talented and kind friend who came to the garden and captured our family with a group of Americans - working hard and enjoying a break.  love this shot of us!  enjoyed a wonderful girls night with some incredible gals!  harty rd went pink!  celebrating Grand Poppy's 90th bday via messenger video - but we got in there!  at the end of the month we headed to Germany and enjoyed GEM's annual conference.  GEM...
