SUMMER is here!

We are SO happy for summer to finally be here. We've played outside a lot lately and you've loved playing in the water. Along with all the play we do... you've learned to sleep and a lot. You take great naps during the day usually 3ish hours and sleep all night long now in your big boy bed!! :) It's been fantastic! And came just in time too. :) You loved to snuggle on mom and dad's bed ... and you found one day that napping with momma on her bed was pretty nice. :) 


Water has become your go to toy outdoors ... well at least when it's 85 degrees and muggy. You love running thru the water and sitting in your pool. I take the hose and make a sprinkler for you and you think it's fantastic. 



For Memorial day we spent the evening at Poppy & Nanny's - with Grand Poppy and Grand Nanny. You enjoyed being center of attention with some many people. :) and again enjoyed more pool/water time. 


Nanny got this cool horse at a garage ... and you love it. Have conquered getting up and down on it all by yourself and love bouncing. 

Here's your big boy bed. You've been so good about staying put and sleeping well in it. We are working on getting you a new bed - CAR bed. :) I'm pretty excited about it, can't wait to see what you say and do! 

You love playing this fishy game with Daddy on the Xbox. You each get a controller and you think it's the best thing ever. It's a good rainy/too hot to go outside day activity. It lasts for a few minutes. :) 

We recently took a trip to the Zoo with your cousins Keegan & Nadia. You thought it was pretty cool. You're favorite thing was feeding the giraffes. :)

Feeding the giraffes ... we had a few lettuce leaves and you got out and got real close to them ... letting them lick your hands and arms. You had a huge smile on your face and couldn't stop smiling and holding your hand up when we talked about it. :) 

A favorite outdoor activity you've picked up recently ... "driving" and dancing in Daddy's car. :) It's quit adorable. 

ICE CREAM!! the best afternoon snack on HOT days ... except you really don't like when the bowl runs out. 

This week your cousins from NJ are here ... so we'll have lots of fun and a good updates to come.

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
