Some of our favorite memories of 2012 … we kept a memory box and thru out the year wrote out what we remember, enjoyed, or want to keep fresh in our minds. (A disclaimer – these are NOT in order! I wasn't going to kill myself over the timeline.)

  • movie nights with Milo on the air mattress
  • June 19th, Said goodbye to Nadia :(
  • January, met Ramon & Jaci @ Biggby – the start of a great friendship!
  • May 9th, Remembered Lil' One's Bday. We love and miss you!
  • Feeling baby kick/flutter/move for the first time – July 9th, 2012
  • Feb. 3-5th, Romantic Weekend Away @ Union Pier Bed&Breakfast on the lake
  • January, heard about Germany & the ministry opportunities from the Rudolphs, began praying and considering the Mission Field
  • January 8th, Mason Potts was born!!! :)
  • Sunday Mornings: prepping Milo for class, GiGi & her smarties, and dancing with Avery to the worship team warmups
  • Finding out and praying about our move to North Carolina (fall 2012)
  • Milo's Bday Party, Sept. 23rd, Georgie Style!
  • Doster Store Pizza, Cream Soda, & Firefly with the hubster on a “parent free” Thursday night
  • watching Milo play in the leaves with Poppy and watching Poppy JUMP into the pile!
  • patch time with Georgie and Milo's favorite spiderman patches
  • April 27th, Milo learned how to climb up on our bed, all by himself. It was all he wanted to do all day
  • Telling Grand Nanny, in person, that our little gift was due on her birthday – priceless
  • Jesse & Debbie's visit June 18-23rd – awesome cousin time for Milo Man & family time for us
  • Mother's Day: Pizza Party, ice cream, Roast dinner, ball game, sunshine, and lots of time w/Milo & Tim
  • March 16-19th, Milo & Dani visit New Jersey w/ Poppy & Nanny
  • Christmas Eve with the Bonhomme's: PIT, Milo blowing out the bday candles for Jesus, Skyping, downtown Kazoo afterwards
  • April 1st, Winter Jam with the Teens! SO FUN!
  • The All church Picnic filled with cotton candy, bounce houses, great food, & lots of Poppy time for Milo
  • Halloween Trunk & Treat, Milo dressed as Man in Yellow Hat and got LOTS of candy
  • Skyping with Craig & Jess/Deb over the holidays! Love seeing my far away family
  • Tim's trip in Denver, NC in October … answers to prayers and excitement about future
  • Our Anniversary Weekend (August 11th & 12th ): had to change plans and stay home due to contractions but still had a great family time
  • April 17th, found out about our Christmas Gift from God … we were THRILLED



  • that one time with a Kitty Cat followed Milo & I home and it became our outdoor kitty! :)
  • 9-26-12: found out about the Potts' Family Addition! WOOHOO
  • Christmas Day with our little family. Morning with just us and added family on as the day went. Spent lots of time walking and trying to keep the contractions coming!
  • Milo's New Lightening McQueen Bed (summer 2012)
  • Nov. 17th Date Night to see James Bond & Thanksgiving Dinner with friends @ the Doster's
  • My first batch of “Perfect” chocolate chip cookies, just like mom's … Sept. 19th, 2012
  • waiting, waiting, and waiting some more on Theo's arrival (ugh!)
  • Milo's 2nd Birthday! 9-26-12: apples, cider, photos, outdoor time, presents, Poppy&Nannys, and sugar!
  • Thanksgiving day @ our place filled with good company, yummy food, and the weather was amazing! Sunny & warm
  • Our Ugly Sweater Party (Dec. 1st): lots of kids, Brent's winning sweater (whoa!) & Tim's great ketchup suit
  • August 8th, finding out it's a BOY! & our gender reveal party … settled on the name Theodore Iain Keith
  • a wonderful time @ Christmas by Candlelight
  • New Years Eve with Bri, Charlie, Andrew, and my parents and of course some yummy taco salad :)
  • Fall Family Photos 9-29-12, a complete success even after a disaster of a day! Had dinner with the Potts Family afterwards! Thanks Tressa!
  • The Christmas Carol with my parents & Tressa (Milo & Daddy had a guys night)
  • Sept. 19&20th Milo found out what a piggy back ride was and rode down to the farm to see the tractors on Daddy's shoulders
  • spent Christmas Night with my parents playing cards and eating goodies. It was relaxing and fun!
  • Praying and planning for Germany and a time to go
  • Theo's Big Arrival – Dec. 26th, 8lbs. 9.4 oz. 23 inches long :) arriving only two hours after my water broke! A speedy little guy!
  • prayers about our internship for 2013 & excited to see where God takes us …


It's been quite a year, full of great memories, big changes and lots of prayer. And I'm sure the adventure and prayers have only just begun!! Looking forward to what 2013 holds for the Keith family and looking forward to filling our box with more memories.

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. It had so many “old” things and so much history to it; from the kitchen cabinets, to the door knobs, & who doesn't just LOVE the hand crafted cabinets?! PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
