{Our December}

Once again I'll do a quick catch up, but in the true to goodness photo gallery way. Because well I do a better job at capturing our days and weeks in photos then in keeping a blog. ha! :) 

Theodore has learned write his name! And now it is on everything!

Our volcano project was a HUGE hit. We all enjoyed learning and experimenting with it. 

This month has taught me a lot about resting in God's strength to get through the days. Resting in Him and not in me. 

Norma got my old doll house this year for Christmas. It was a huge hit! 

This year the Keith side had Christmas at Gull Lake the weekend before Christmas. We spent two nights in a 10 bedroom house at GLM. It was a HUGE success and VERY, VERY fun. Memories were made and the years to come are gonna have a lot to hold up to!

Christmas Eve morning we celebrated together as a family. It was a beautiful time together. 

Uncle Scott made a Paw Patrol game for the kids while at GLM. It was a HUGE hit with the kids and they thought it was the best thing in the world. Complete with paw patrol patches, missions, tools, and of course time spent working together. I don't know if Uncle Scott will be Uncle Scott anymore... he is Ryder! 

Theo's bday was spent eating pizza, cake, and celebrating with his grandparents. This was one of his gifts from us.

I never want to forget our bedtime routine. The extra giggles, the smell of baby, and the cuddles. oh the cuddles. 

Eddies' first christmas was quit the event and he had a wonderful weekend of fun 

If ever we had times that the kids needed to be patient, Uncle Scott came in with a great story or two to help occupy them! It was great.

A major highlight of our time together under one roof, NERF WARS! the upstairs was the war level. Kids against Dads, families against families, kids against kids. It was a blast. Loud music, silly imaginations, and lots and lots of nerf darts!

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
