{May Minutes}

Another month come and gone. It was a full one too. Lots done and lots of memories made! Again, I'm better at pictures so I'll do some recapping through photos and then add in what is needed afterwards. :) But first to the HIGHLIGHTS!

- Memorial weekend camping was a blast! it was amazing weather and full of spontaneous events and yummy food.

- We really took off on fundraising and although we are still currently sitting at 9%, we've had meetings and call backs and have more on the horizon. It's humbling and a true test of faith! God knows and it'll all come together in His time.

- We ended the month a bit rough, with sickness rolling in and began June with croup in the house and a nasty coughing virus for you older ones. No fun at all!! I had to miss out on your last soccer game this season Milo! Was super bummed about that. But Norma and Eddie got their rest and are seeming to be doing better now, praying it lasts!

- Feeling the summer break itch! With only a few weeks left of our school calendar, we spent a lot of afternoons enjoying parks, water fights, digging in the dirt and exploring. It's just getting us even more pumped for our all day adventures and play dates! Now if I can just keep myself motivated to finish up ... first grade is so close to completion! Hooray!

- Milo, you're reading more and more each week. And your speed is improving as well. We are so proud of you and I love hearing you read things to yourself or to the family. It is a joy to watch!

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
