{Things to Know}

Well, here it is nearly the end of October. Man, time is flying. 
To begin, we will have plenty of new pics to post in due time. Our amazing photographer, got some sweet shots of our family being silly and stubborn a few weeks ago. But I sure do love them. They are us. 

Before we go too far though, I wanna update and review. 
We are fundraising for England and are making progress! It fluctuates from fun and easy to hard and tiresome quickly, but watching God move is always an enjoyment. We are very grateful for the partners we have and that as of right now, we are at 15% of our monthly budget!!! Woot! 
In the coming weeks and probably for the next month, we won't be doing a ton of meetings and phone calls because we will be moving. 

I know what y'all are thinking... AGAIN?

To make a long story short, we have been with a church plant since we moved back to Michigan 4 years ago. That church just turned a YEAR old this past September!!! So amazing and so cool to be a part of. After a face to face with leadership, we both decided it was best we look for another sending church. Our sweet church plant is still in the early phase of devleopment, we don't want to be a hindrance to them and they don't want to be one to us at this important time. 

So this past summer, we approached our church family in North Carolina and asked leadership to pray about possibly providing spirutal oversight as our home church. After a few months of prayer and our visit in August, they responded with a "YES. Come on down!" 
Now, this is totally a shortened version, there was a lot of prayer, a few bumps, and certain things that are still in the unknown but as of the end of November we are Carolina bound. Church at Denver will be our new home (again) until we cross the pond and settle in with our Stockton family. 

We are excited beyond measure to have a church committed to becoming our partners in prayer and our sounding block as we proceed through fundraising and step into missions life. We are also saddened to be closing our Michigan chapter quicker then we thought. Goodbyes are around the corner, holidays will most likely be missed, and packing must take place - oh so much packing. 

So as we look forward to November and a full month of gratitude, please keep us all in your prayers as we start packing to head south. :)

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. So Much Thankfulness

  This year, as many years before, there's SO much to be thankful for. Seriously tho, the list goes on forever. God blesses us so much every year and sometimes I think we take that for granted. His mercy and grace alone are enough to make Thanksgiving day full of overwhelming hearts and thankful spirits ... but He blesses us with SO much more. It's incredible. Not only does God forgive me and rescue me daily from my sins, He gives me a beautiful little family that loves me for me. A husband that is devoted and dedicated. A very cute little guy (that's you Milo Man!) that loves his mommy dearly and makes life so much more adventurous. Another cute guy that will be arriving oh so soon (hopefully). And parents that still take care of me, even when i least expect it.  These are just a few of the wonderful things that I am thankful for this year.  My salvation in Christ has taken on a new meaning in the past year; helping me to realize there's not much more in life that ...
