{March Moments!}

What a lovely month! March is usually a slow moving month for us, but this March was one of our funniest months yet in NC! Packed with so much, it's hard to know where to begin!

We had a both sets of grandparents visit this month, one at the beginning and the other at the end. Both weekends were amazing, and relaxing! We sure did enjoy each moment and made some great memories in new and old places.

Tim has been working a lot of hours at his new job but it's given some opportunities to get to know his co-workers better and has allowed us to spend more time with families and adventuring with friends. We've had a lot of picnics out at parks with new friends, have met and enjoyed time with our new neighbors and I've been able to invite other mom friends over so we can do life together while our hubbies work hard! It's been an adjustment for sure, but the Lord has been good to provide us with what we need and so much more. Our new friendships have been a joy! 

We had the wonderful privilege of being invited to our neighbors birthday party at the park. It was a great afternoon. The kids had a blast! They now yell out the windows at our cute neighbor boy and try to be outside all the time so they can play with him. :) 

I know that isn't even half of what our March held, but it highlights some good moments.

GIRL DAY! We spent an entire afternoon shopping thrift stores, just us girls! 

The weather was quit amazing, so we spent a morning at our nature center and had a picnic

While we had our movie buddy in town, we got the awesome privilege of seeing Black Panther together! 

after a long weekend, we spent a good day snuggled on the couch together <3

This awesome book is opening up an incredible opportunity for me! I'm hosting a book club with some momma's from our church. A mutli-generational group of support and fun! #dontmomalone

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
