{Nourishing November}

Oh November! One of my favorite months of the year! It holds so much excitement and anticipation for the coming holidays. This year though, it not only held anticipation for fun celebrations and traditions but medical results as well. The short medical answer is I do have SVT, and we are looking into having a heart ablation done to cure me of it. However it is a very costly procedure and we are praying over the details. But for the month of November I was put on a 24/7 heart monitor after a doing a stress test in office. Over all, it was annoying but I am SO glad we did it... it ended up capturing what the cardiologist needed to move forward in my diagnosis. Praise the Lord! 

It was an eventful month for our kiddos health as well. Eddie broke his foot and we had a nasty virus go through our home that knocked out our kids one by one... with a high fever, sore throats and aches. But never the less we found joyful moments amidst the chaos! We had visits from both my folks and Tim's mom!! And enjoyed Thanksgiving with friends.

We also had a wonderful privileged of hosting a neighborhood Thanksgiving with the folks in our 'hood! And what a great turn out it was. We had 9 different houses represented in our home for a delicious thanksgiving potluck. The food was amazing but the conversations were even better!!! We are looking forward to having our Ugly Sweater Party with them in a few days. :)
God showed us His mighty hand of provision yet again and I am again left speechless at how quickly I let fear and doubt tap out my faith in my Savior. We are very grateful for the 
people and the gifts God has given us. Oh how undeserving I am of all He gives!!!
We definitely had a lot to be thankful for this month and continue to fall on our knees in gratitude and awe of our Might Creator.
During a scheduling mishap for my stress test and assigning a monitor to me...
we had an hour and half to kill , so we enjoyed a rare meal in the middle of the day together!!! 

Oh how grateful I am to this little machine

we enjoyed our neighbor's church harvest festival at the beginning of the month! 



E was pleased with the dinner menu of cheetos,
nachos, hot dogs, and popcorn! haha

so we came back with nanny to get the soft cast

this guy spent his free time creating a raking company and passing out flyers to our neighbors.
He then spent his weekend hours raking their yards and earning money to put toward helping out a family in need!
my momma heart filled with tears as I watched him earn and give so sacrificially

Thanksgiving with the Griswold Family will go down as a favorite holiday for our fam!!
We LOVE them and am so grateful for their invitation to join their family for a great meal.

I'll enjoy the interruptions and try hard to enjoy more giggles and tickle fights while I still can.

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
