So i started this post last week ... and have been updating it for the past few days ... enjoy! 


So I finished your slideshow today for your bday party!! It has so many fun pictures from the past year … and it's incredible to watch you “grow up” in the 14 minutes it takes to watch the show. It got me thinking of all the fun and not so fun things we've tackled, moved on from, grew into, and learned. Then I thought – Hey! That'd be a fun blog post. So here's below are a few of our favorite pics and some things we've accomplished and learned this past year.

  1. you are the cutest Lion in the world … whether a Lion Fan or a true Lion with a ROAR! :)


  2. you really have your animals down now … and most of their sounds. ZuZu is still your favorite however.

  3. your friend collection just keeps growing but you and your blankie … that's always been and I have a feeling always will be your favorite! :)


  4. we LOVE art projects … even if it's just painting something white paper!

  5. Goodbye bottles – Hello sippies and cups!

  6. we finally had to cut your hair!! and have really had to keep up on the cuts now. No more Mr. Baldy :)

  7. we LOVE cousin time!! :) it's our favorite!!!!!



  8. Georgie is your best friend … does & goes everywhere with you!!





  9. You LOVE water!! doesn't matter how or where …




  10. Your favorite movies haven't varied too much … but we've ranged from Monsters Inc., CARS, of course anything Georgie, Toy Story, and more recently Homeward Bound.






There's so many, many more things we could list but I think for time sack I'll leave it at that for now. :) Now we can talk – PARTY!

Sunday we had your very fun, very Georgie Birthday Party … and you LOVED it!! You did so well sharing your toys, and playing with your friends. You even shared some of your new birthday toys with them too!! And of course you all loved the cake and ice cream. And you caught on very quickly to the whole opening gifts thing. :) We had just enough people over to fill our house, and fill to the max! There were kids, adults, and noise everywhere! It was great!!! The whole day went just as planned, with a good start to our Sunday by attending church, you were very well behaved and played nicely with your friends in nursery/class. And when we got back home we ate lunch as a little family then you fell asleep fast & hard. Took a great 2 hour nap and woke up just in time to greet our first guests at the door! :) You woke a bit cranky but lost the attitude once friends and things started happening. (which we couldn't have been more thankful for!!!) You had your two best guy friends around, Keegan & Jordan and played nicely with trucks, mowers, tools & cars – typical boy toys. :) Once we sang to you, all three of you were ready for some sweets! With chocolate cake, blue moon ice cream & even Nanny's chocolate chip cookies; the plate of yummy goodness was enough to sugar you all up and let you loose again!! haha Afterwards tho, we thought it a good idea to open gifts, before the sugar high set in. :) All in all, it was a fantastic party, if I do say so myself! And we could tell you enjoyed it very much!!! It was so fun to see the joy on your face as you opened gifts and played with new toys! Such excitement – got us excited for Christmas time with you!!! :)

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! But the little details and charm of the place got to me and I knew we just HAD to live here!! It was perfect. I fell in love. {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. {Monthly Minutes}

Sunday morning, watching The Pond before church  Well we finally have some form of internet out here in the boondocks. ha! Hopefully that means more posts... but I wouldn't hold your breath. So until I get better at this blogging things and keeping things up to date, here's a little recap and some fun highlights of where life is now. (and of course there's tons of pics at the end and thru it, because, well, i'm much better at capturing life then writing about it! ha!) First, Highlights! -Eddie is a cruising baby now. Dude, you are amazing at pulling up on just about anything and have only taken a few little falls. Determined to get to where you want, there's not much that keeps you still now, except food! You love food. Recently learned how delicious Ritz crackers are and watermelon. Bananas are still a fav though along with any fruit really. -We began fundraising!!!! WOOHOO!
