Here we are in May!! Good grief!
This last month brought on some fun new toys for us. Swingsets, sandboxes, bouncy horses, and new technology! Ha. We have some awesome new neighbors who were so gracious and gave us the outdoor toys they had in their backyard. That included a full metal swingset, a big plastic box like climbing things with slide, and a sandbox!!! We were speechless, I will say tho, you kids weren't quiet about!!! There was loads of laughs, screeches, and excitement - and still is, each time we go to play. So neighbors, if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! We are stoked to have new play equipment for the summer.
While we were enjoying the new and exciting playground outside, our laptop was struggling to keep us in the loop with fundraising. We were cut off from a video chat, and continually it would just shut off on me while I was working on letters and messages! Ugh. It finally got me one too many times. Thankfully, we had been looking and researching laptops for a while. So we finally pulled the triggered and ordered our new and update laptop!! It's a bit bigger then most would probably like, but I LOVE the size for editing pics and for movie watching... it's nice and I'm thankful to our brothers for helping us and sharing their tech wisdom with us. We also were able to get a nice laser printer so we can finally print off our fundraising letters and papers for meetings AT HOME! What??!?!!? How amazing. No more late night library runs and card loading to print off one at a time.
Over all it was a wonderful month. The weather has quickly turned from cool spring to almost summer!! This week has been high 70's to low 80's. We planted our garden and it's taking off quickly! Looking forward to eating our harvest.
