March came and went in a flash! Wow, I can't believe it's over already. It was a delightful month that helped usher in spring and more sunshine. We spent a lot of time working hard at home with school work and then celebrated our hard work with, you guessed it, outdoor adventures! And with great joy, in the last week of March, our Stay at Home orders were lifted and we were able to explore outside of our town. What fun that opens up. We also can now have one family over, outside ... so we were able to enjoy the last week of March with others and boy, oh boy, did that ever lift our spirits.

This month I had a date with this little girl and we got some take out and went to the park.
The sun wasn't shining too much, and it was a bit chilly, but it was a joy to be out and alone with my girl. |

| Mother's Day is in March here ... and I was very well celebrated and spoiled! |

Not sure if many know, but N was diagnosed with Dyslexia a few weeks before we left for England.
We took time, researched and got a whole new curriculum for her. We began it full time at the beginning of the year and she is doing super well. Reading 3 of the readers it came with and learning more each week. My momma heart is SO proud. Way to go girlie! |

God answers prayers. I've been feeling alone in homeschooling. It's not as "popular" here and we don't have the support system we had. We miss our friends and this month was especially hard. We began to pray, together and apart, for friends.
Enter a random Wednesday park and hiking day. We visited a new place and went for a fun walk in the woods. When we finished our picnic we entered the playground and within a half hour had met 2 other homeschool moms and their kids. We "hit it off" as they would say and by the end of the night I was invited into 4 different homeschool groups and introduced to so many other families like ours!
I left the park in tears. Thankful for a God who hears and cares. Thankful for new friends. I left feeling like homeschooling wasn't impossible but grateful for the choice. |

He also wanted to purchase gifts for each family member.... ending the date by saying,
