Raising Arrows

Happy Birthday sweet child! You would be six today. This day use to be filled with many tears. A celebration hushed away by an absence and sadness. But in the last few years I've embraced this day. Truly began to celebrate with heart! And this year we will have cake! We will sing just as loud and as silly as we do for all of our other precious children. It's, of course, all done differently, but the short and absolutely perfect time we had together with you on this side of life still has it's ripple effects. You're story is still being told and how God used your tiny heart beat to change our path of life, it's awesome and can only be credited to our Lord and Savior! There's so much JOY in this day this year. We are fundraising. We are on our way to a land and a country that wasn't even on our radar and in our plans 6 years ago. Here we are in May!! Good grief! This last month brought on some fun new toys for us. Swingsets, sandboxes, bouncy horses, and new technology! Ha. We have some awesome new neighbors who were so gracious and gave us the outdoor toys they had in their backyard. That included a full metal swingset, a big plastic box like climbing things with slide, and a sandbox!!! We were speechless, I will say tho, you kids weren't quiet about!!! There was loads of laughs, screeches, and excitement - and still is, each time we go to play. So neighbors, if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! We are stoked to have new play equipment for the summer.  While we were enjoying the new and exciting playground outside, our laptop was struggling to keep us in the loop with fundraising. We were cut off from a video chat, and continually it would just shut off on me while I was working on letters and messages! Ugh. It finally got me one too many times. What a lovely month! March is usually a slow moving month for us, but this March was one of our funniest months yet in NC! Packed with so much, it's hard to know where to begin! We had a both sets of grandparents visit this month, one at the beginning and the other at the end. Both weekends were amazing, and relaxing! We sure did enjoy each moment and made some great memories in new and old places. Tim has been working a lot of hours at his new job but it's given some opportunities to get to know his co-workers better and has allowed us to spend more time with families and adventuring with friends. We've had a lot of picnics out at parks with new friends, have met and enjoyed time with our new neighbors and I've been able to invite other mom friends over so we can do life together while our hubbies work hard! It's been an adjustment for sure, but the Lord has been good to provide us with what we need and so much more. Our new friendships have been a joy!  We ha...
