Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Milo Man! It was a wonderful weekend for celebration of Christ's death and resurrection!! I'm not sure how the whole easter egg and bunny thing came around for the world... but we don't really do much with that aspect of it, except with grandparents! (of course!) :) We started Easter morning off very early with our church family @ the Northbridge Rise & Run fun run 5K. They proceeds from the race went towards our short mission trip we are looking to take in the fall to Germany. So we rose before the sun ... and you were not a happy camper about it. ha! From there we celebrated at church ... where you are always more then willing to go play in the nursery with all your pals. :) You BEG to go downstairs, pretty much from the moment we arrive. (after your donut tho! haha) 
Then we had a very busy afternoon with family at Grandma&Grandpa Keith's place. We ate a delicious ham, mash potatoes, veggie and roll dinner. And after all little kids napped (and some big kids too) we had a fun easter egg hunt! You were so serious about it... and caught on super fast with what to do. :) You were a champ at finding the eggs and putting them in your bucket.

We did have a fun surprise for the weekend... Uncle Craig flew in to surprise Aunt Cassie and Nadia! It was great fun! And we even got some extra time with him. They stopped by while we were out playing in the sun. It was a joy to watch you and nadia play so nice together...

We spend a lot of time outdoors this weekend... it's just been so nice!! (now it's kinda windy tho) I couldn't help but take more pics of you and your "play pal" The two of you are inseparable outside.

 This TONKA truck is a fav (besides your wagon). You love to ride it... even tho it's so tiny. :) 

Dad & I love watching you play outside. We can see your imagination at work already. And you love to explore and learn about your surroundings. You'll run around and laugh - needless to say you LOVE outside!! 



I know we say it a lot but you truly are a blessing! And watching you grow is the best gift God has ever given us. :) We love you Milo man!

There's No Place Like Home

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. So Much Thankfulness

  This year, as many years before, there's SO much to be thankful for. Seriously tho, the list goes on forever. God blesses us so much every year and sometimes I think we take that for granted. His mercy and grace alone are enough to make Thanksgiving day full of overwhelming hearts and thankful spirits ... but He blesses us with SO much more. It's incredible. Not only does God forgive me and rescue me daily from my sins, He gives me a beautiful little family that loves me for me. A husband that is devoted and dedicated. A very cute little guy (that's you Milo Man!) that loves his mommy dearly and makes life so much more adventurous. Another cute guy that will be arriving oh so soon (hopefully). And parents that still take care of me, even when i least expect it.  These are just a few of the wonderful things that I am thankful for this year.  My salvation in Christ has taken on a new meaning in the past year; helping me to realize there's not much more in life that ...
