Summer Sun & Water Fun

Hello Sunshine!!! We are SO excited to welcome the warm weather and really hope it stinks around. The mornings start off cool and it gets nice and toasty by lunch time ... this weekend was actually hot from start to finish. The sun was out ALL day with not many clouds in the sky. It was beautiful! We took advantage of the day after nap time and spent the day outside playing with all the new toys that were given to us!! That's right, we got a load of Little Tikes Toys dropped off at our place Saturday from some distant family members and you were THRILLED and could not wait to try them out!! Dad & I took time while you were napping yesterday to hose them all off and clean 'em off real good so we could enjoy them. :) And enjoy them you did!! (well still am haha) We also took advantage of the HOT weather to break out your pool. It's not huge but enough to cool you down and let you splash BIG!! :) You LOVED it. It was cold hose water - and you kept squatting down in it and trying to sit, bouncing back up quickly saying "hot, hot"... so funny how any tempeture setting to you is called Hot (even tho you know the difference between the two, cuz when it's cold you'll shiver when you say "hot, hot"). It was entertaining to say the least. :) And you loved playing with the hose with ZuZu. We'd spray the water up in the air and as it came falling down you'd laugh and giggle, reaching up after the water. So cute.

It was a great day in the sun and water!! 

On an unrelated note, we'll be going "old school" here at the house soon. No more internet. It's getting too expensive for what we have, and honestly we don't really "need" it. Dad has it at work and can check emails and what not there, and I can check my FB and email at Nanny's or work, we even can check things on our phones if it's an emergency. So we figured saving that money was worth it, at least for now. We are going to go the summer without and see if we want to resign for the fall/winter. So we'll see how we do. So I'll still be updating but it just won't be from home, it'll be when we have extra time at Nanny's or when we go out to a place with free WIFI. :) 

Well along with spring and warm days, come those dreaded rainy days. And what to do with them. I've started my list and planning ... and the other day we had fun playing with your tunnel until the grass and toys "dried up". 

We also got the chance to watch Daddy mow again. And you once again thought it was AMAZING and followed him from window to window. :) 

You and your daddy are inseparable whenever he's home. You love to snuggle up on the couch and watch TV with him, as long as you have your blankies and animals too. :) You also caught onto puzzles this weekend and spent a TON of time with Dad doing them. :)  Monday mornings are a little tough for all of us, dad doesn't want to leave and we don't want him to either. But we know if we get thru the week, well we'll have another fun weekend to look forward to!! And this coming weekend is a holiday weekend which means an extra day with him!!! HOORAY! :) 

Update on the Christmas gift real quick... we have only THREE more days till we get to see him/her! :) Can Not Wait!! Praying hard and keeping our thoughts positive. 

Well I guess that's all for now. Life with you Milo Man is always a thrill!!
