Germany... here we come!!!

So about 25 minutes ago I got a response to a email message I had sent about dates we wanted to visit Germany. And the reply was nothing but great news!!! The dates we chose work out with the church and pastoral staff we will be visiting with. :) It's an answer to prayers!! And it's funny what can go thru your head in just a short half hour of time …

We have to book flights … and to get the price we saw, it better be fast!
I need to apply for my passport and yours, Milo.
We need photos for our passports.
Does our credit card have that big of a limit on it to place our flights on it till all our money comes in?
We need to start our support/prayer letter and get it sent out!!
How do you start a letter like this?
10 days is a long time to leave you, Milo Man … (then you disobey me as I think this, then I think maybe it'd be a good, short vacation …)
Theo, oh boy I pray Theo will do alright on that long of a flight!
Wait, we will have newborn by then! WOWzers …
We have a lot to do before we can go.
How do I prepare for this trip?
This could be our future home.
How fast will God move now?
Whoa, this is a lot to do and think about.

And I'm sure I've missed some things. Haha It's a lot to think about but along with the questions, prayers, and to-do list, I am SO very excited to finally be getting this trip under way!! It's been 7 months of prayer, emails, phone calls, and meeting new and very fun people! And by February, it will be just over a year since Germany was brought to our attention!! And I can't wait to see how God uses us and what He has in store for our little family!

So now, it's time to get cracking!! We have lots to do, and I will try to keep us posted on how things are going and what we've accomplished!
It's go time!!

This December marks the start of our 4th year in our old, cozy home. It's this time each year I begin to think of all the hard work that was put into making this old farmhouse our home. It took months of work, (mostly time of Grandpa Keith's), and lots of imagination. I remember when Daddy took me thru the first time, the place was SO dirty, run down, and in dire need of some TLC!! {FIVE.2019}

PRAISE GOD!! It is with the greatest joy we announce that our family has made it to the 50% mark in our monthly fundraising goal! Praise God! With that being said, we are setting new goals and continuing on with eager anticipation as to how God will work in the coming months. We've set some goals and are praying to be at 80% by October so we can attend the month long pre-field training near Asheville, NC. Our goal is reach Stockton-on-Tees at the beginning of the new year! In other news, God has been answering prayer here in our simple way of living in our front yard! I am writing a post dedicated to how God is moving and what we are doing, but until it's all done, I'll just recap it quickly. God has been bringing folks to our yard, expanding our friends in the neighborhood and making old things new and beautiful. So Much Thankfulness

  This year, as many years before, there's SO much to be thankful for. Seriously tho, the list goes on forever. God blesses us so much every year and sometimes I think we take that for granted. His mercy and grace alone are enough to make Thanksgiving day full of overwhelming hearts and thankful spirits ... but He blesses us with SO much more. It's incredible. Not only does God forgive me and rescue me daily from my sins, He gives me a beautiful little family that loves me for me. A husband that is devoted and dedicated. A very cute little guy (that's you Milo Man!) that loves his mommy dearly and makes life so much more adventurous. Another cute guy that will be arriving oh so soon (hopefully). And parents that still take care of me, even when i least expect it.  These are just a few of the wonderful things that I am thankful for this year.  My salvation in Christ has taken on a new meaning in the past year; helping me to realize there's not much more in life that ...
