Go, till God tells you to Stay
We had the wonderful privilege of meeting up with missionaries Rich & Julia Rudolph and their cute son Justus this weekend. They took time out of the busy schedule to share with us and answer some questions we've had. They were sharing their missionary story and leading with our church this weekend and we hosted them Saturday evening so they'd be close by & cuz all the hotels in town were booked due to the drag races (which we got quit the laugh from! haha). But thank goodness because we had a great time getting to know one another and how God is working in our lives.
As most of you know, Tim & I were planning an exploratory short term mission trip to Germany for this fall. But due to our amazing Christmas gift this year, I won't be able to travel in October due to being large. :) haha But large for all the great reasons!!! So we both agreed we'd still go, we'd just have to re-plan the trip for the late winter/early spring 2013. And our new plan is starting to take shape. It's at the very beginning stages but we have an idea of what it may hold and pray God will provide and show us who and where we need to be. But we are thinking we will split the time between the ministry in Kusel with church planting in the area and working with more of the village culture and an International church in Berlin - where we'd be working with teens. We are trying to connect with both pastors and leaders of both ministries but it can be difficult at times due to the 6 hour time difference and us not having internet at home. (Ugh!) So we are praying we'll be able to make the contacts we need and will be able to take the trip to the next level soon and possibly set some dates up.
After our visit with the Rudolph's we are ready to Go! And we both are excited to see where God will take and lead us. We know it won't always be easy and there will be rough spots, as there is with anything in life. But we feel this is where God is leading us as a family and until God tells us otherwise, we are going to GO!!
So please keep us all in your prayers as we approach this new plan and start to get things nailed down. There are many different ways we can approach this and we are praying for guidance in our decision(s).
A big thank you to Rich & Julia for helping to answer our questions and meeting us!! It was a great pleasure!!! We will be praying for their ministry as well.

First time trying out a BIG pool! Milo loved it ... and was getting a little too brave for this momma. haha trying to swing away from daddy and dunk him head too deep. Oh man! I don't know if i'm ready for what the next 18+ years is going to bring!! What a dare devil we have on our hands! He's really not afraid of new things. :) But that can be a blessing when channeled in the right direction!! So hooray!!
Well we love you Milo Man and am excited to see where God will take our family
